When in Rome…

It’s Friday evening 24th May: the long Bank Holiday Weekend has just started in the UK and most schools have now closed their premises to the public for their half term break. The team here at E.S.G. Solutions is as busy as ever though and with so many clients relying on us to fulfil their compliance and voluntary disclosure obligations some of us are going to be working also on Monday 27th to stay ahead of the many deadlines expected in June, especially around the GRESB and ESOS agendas!

Timing seems perfect to publish some memories of our recent business trip in Rome, where for the second consecutive year we attended at the UnionCamere HQ in Piazza Sallustio the ESG 2030 Forum hosted by Diligentia ETS to present the findings of Mangia’s ground-breaking ESG case study. It was the perfect closing at the end of a 2-year international project involving GRESB disclosure, BREEAM In-Use assessments and the set-up of an integrated management system based on the Get It Fair framework for this management company in the hospitality sector, which led to a 3rd party certified ESG rating and the assurance of their first sustainability report with reference to the GRI standards.

Some celebration and a couple of well-deserved days off for the team were undoubtedly in order, we work hard but also try to enjoy the journey together as much as we can. And what an amazing journey this is proving to be…
