Today we have been invited by Lucia Catalina Burtnik Urueta from the University of Bath‘s research team led by Dr. Sam Hampton to join a conversation about policy support funding, a project in collaboration with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero which examines how government-private sector collaboration can accelerate decarbonisation efforts for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Following a review of our website’s articles and track record, Environmental Social Governance Solutions Limited was chosen to share industry insights and relevant experiences, crucial for understanding the current landscape of efforts to reduce carbon emissions, which could directly influence government policy on SME decarbonisation.
Our founder Antonio Messina was delighted to participate, as we believe that our practical knowledge, developed working with various businesses in the UK and abroad, is exactly what policymakers need to hear to ensure that upcoming policy recommendations will be effective and will reflect real-world expertise from frontline and fully committed organisations like ours.
We were happy to hear that the study findings will be shared directly with government stakeholders shaping the next wave of SME climate support programs! More details can be found here:
