BREEAM In-Use at Mangia’s Himera Resort
We are steadily progressing our programme of BREEAM In-Use (BIU) site surveys to certify the sustainability credentials of this Client of ours in the hospitality sector who has embarked on a very ambitious ESG journey.
Mangia’s Himera Resort claims to be “the perfect place for those who want to totally immerse themselves in an authentic Italian vacanza of nature, art and culture. About 60 km from Palermo-Punta Raisi airport and just 16 km from Cefalù, the location is a few metres from the sea, where the green of the artichoke fields blends with golden sand of the beaches“.
Well, you know what we do for a living: we went on site to verify the claim and can guarantee that there’s absolutely no greenwashing!!! This asset is a true pearl where the well-being of occupants is met through the most modern sustainability features of plant and equipment. We found a building that was very well designed by the M’Build-it staff and is perfectly operated by the site team (General Manager, Facilities Manager, etc.).
